Question:

: One week ago we added another JRT to our household. We have a spayed female JRT who is two years old. My question is this, how long will it take for the two to get along. They seem fine except for when it comes to food and pigs ears. I thought that they'd get along better, the puppy even if he has his own pigs ear, will bark at the female and then they will get into a fight over the one she is eating on. Are the trying to set up who is going to dominate the other! Any suggestions would be helpful.

If they are getting along well without the items you listed above then I would seperate them when they have these items. Maybe put the puppy in its crate to enjoys its chewy and food, or both dogs in their crate durning these times.
