: I had my 1 yr old JRT spayed about a month ago. In the last week I have noticed the hair on her back becoming thinner and more coarse. She is very itchy and going under bushes to scratch her back. Today there is a noticable patch where she has lost her hair and the skin is very pink here. Is this a reaction from the operation? She used to have really thick soft fur on her back.

I would really suggest that you get her to the vet for this problem.
