Is my dog really a JRT?

I have adopted a wonderful JRT "mix" from the Humane Society. She looks like a real JRT only a little bit small for the breed. I don't know if there is really any accurate way to know if she is pure JRT or not. What would be the very smallest length/height that the JRT standard would accept?
