: I have adopted a wonderful JRT "mix" from the Humane Society. She looks like a real JRT only a little bit small for the breed. I don't know if there is really any accurate way to know if she is pure JRT or not. What would be the very smallest length/height that the JRT standard would accept?

The minimum height requirement of the JRTCA breed standard is 10" at the withers. Please review the Breed Standard and Registration pages for more information regarding acceptance for registration, or recording, with the JRTCA (links below.)
