Taking the "kids" camping...what about West Nile

Hello again... we are planning on taking our two JRT's camping with us this coming long weekend. We live in Ontario and while there have not been any WNV reported cases directly in the area we will be camping, there are some in Ontario and within and hour's drive form the campground. I called my vet and there isn't a spray or vaccine that we can get. I was thinking of getting a mosq. net for over their pen , but they will still be out walking with us in the daytime. Any tips...ideas or suggestions for me ? I want to protect them at all costs, even if it means they may miss this camping trip.
