I just bought my Mom a mini dachshund,although she loves my JRT-I didn't think it would be a good choice for her. Yikes! I think this puppy was owned by satan! Question is my JRT is AFRAID of this 3 pound puppy ! He actually stays close to me and cries. The JRT actually offered his toys to this dog and then ran back to me and cried ! I'd like them to get along and get used to one another-but I don't want to upset my JRT. Should I wait until the puppy gets bigger or should I still try and socialize the two for short periods of time. My JRT is 3 and the mini dachshund is 3 months.
