Question:

: I have a 4 month old Jack puppy who has ears that go straight back when she is excited. Her father has simular ears. Do you have any suggestions on how I might correct this ear problem before it's too late.

Hi Sharon -

It's possible that this is being caused by teething - the age is about right. We've had lots of questions about changing ears set on young Jack Russells that are about this age. However, if her father has the same ear set, it is most likely that her ears will remain this way. There's really nothing you can do to alter them if they decide that this is the way they want to point.
