Question:

: I'm trying to get this straight - you qualify in Starters to get an Agility 1 certificate, with that certificate you can compete in Agility 1 and 2. The only way you get an Agility 2 certificate is from qualifying in Agility 2. So why do you compete in Agility 1? Getting qualifying scores in Agility 1 does not advance you.

Hi Colleen,
You compete in Agility 1 because you want to have fun and because it is often how your dog can be eligible for the championship/high in trial.
If you'll check out your newest True Grit, the agility rules and this area have changed slightly for next year, from the way I read it.
