Question:

: Hi All! My JRT is a 15 month old neutered male. He is 26 pounds of solid muscle. I am interested in doing agility and/or racing with him. I know he doesn't necessarily meet the breed standard and I don't plan to show him, but I'm unsure of weight/size restrictions for the other activities. I have done some research on your sight but I wasn't able to find an exact answer to my question. I apologize in advance if I missed it. I know how annoying repetitive questions can be.
: Thank you!

Hi Jonna,
For JRTCA agility and racing, the dog must fall within the height specifications set by the breed standard, 10-15" at the withers.
There are other all-breed/mix agility organizations you can compete in, regardless of your dog's size in comparison with its breed standard. Dogs are clases in height groups, regardless of breed. Those organizations are called USDAA and NADAC, and I'll give you links to their websites below, as well as a few others.
Have fun!
Heather
