Question:

: I have a neutered, totally unagressive male Jack Russell and would also love to get a rottweiler some day. I've read somewhere that rotties can learn to get along well with any pet as long as they are raised with them from puppyhood.
: If I get a rottie ( Preferably a female) will she try to kill Wishbone or eat him up, or do you think it would be safe to keep the two together?
: My Jack is only 12" tall and weighs 14 lbs. by the way. I know of someone who has a rat terrier and a rottweiler together, and the rott is good with the smaller dog.

Response:

Hi Roberta,

I don't believe any of the reps here have any rottweilers so we couldn't tell you what to expect from one.

You're smart to go with an opposite sex dog and it probably would be wise to start with a puppy.

Sorry we can't be of anymore help.

Regards,
Marie
